As we expand our design and product development team, we are seeking a Collection Development Specialist who can contribute to Jerf’s modern, clean, and elevated design language.About The RoleWho You Are• Strong aesthetic vision with an intuitive understanding of color, form, and silhouette.• Actively follows fashion, product, fabric and activewear trends.• Organized, structured, calm under pressure.• Comfortable working both on the field and in the studio/office.• Hybrid thinker: creative + operational.• Natural alignment with Jerf’s modern, minimal and refined visual world.Core ResponsibilitiesCreative Development (Moodboard & Trend)• Build seasonally aligned mood boards and concept directions.• Translate global trends into collection ideas aligned with Jerf’s identity.• Propose color palettes, fabric stories, textures, silhouettes.• Strong aesthetic sensitivity on terry, seamless and active fabrics.• Confident using Pinterest, Figma, Canva.Product Design & Development Management (A–Z Ownership)You will lead and coordinate the full product creation pipeline:• Moodboard → Concept creation• Fabric sourcing and swatch/card management• Model, fit and technical briefing preparation• Sample tracking & development• Fit sessions, revision and approval• Color & size set coordination with manufacturers• Final bulk production approvalOperational & Cross-Team Coordination• Daily communication with manufacturers, pattern makers, fabric suppliers.• Manage WhatsApp production groups & communication flow.• Create timelines, checklists, progress trackers.• Backward planning based on delivery deadlines.• Detect production delays early and take action.• Maintain strong documentation, reporting and process clarity.Experience & Qualifications• 3 years experience in product development or design assistance (preferably seamless, knitwear or activewear).• Degree in Fashion Design or Textile is a plus.• Strong understanding of activewear construction.• Ability to work in a structured, timeline-based environment.Aesthetic & Brand Alignment• Strong intuitive sense for minimal, clean, modern design.• Understands capsule collection logic.• Harmonizes color, materials and silhouette with Jerf’s brand DNA.• Follows activewear, lifestyle and social media trends with a curated eye.• Ability to interpret Jerf’s “athleisure + quiet elegance” identity into product.Working Style• Creates weekly plans and tracks milestones.• Fully adheres to collection calendars.• Balances creativity and analysis.• Ownership mindset with commitment to brand values.
