Collection Specialist

The Collection Specialist manages the performance of the assigned customer account group and the related financial risks by ensuring that payments arrive from customers for their invoices on a timely manner and with the correct amount, discrepancies are investigated and payment issues are resolved.This role requires working afternoon shifts Mon-Fri from: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PMTasksInitiating collection actions via phone and e-mailsIdentifying possible risks affecting incoming paymentsReviewing customer accounts to identify discrepancies, adjustments or missed payments and initiating issue resolutionTracking actions and updating customer records to document contact date, issues and resolution, scheduling follow upMonitoring credit release screens to ensure shipments are executed in a timely manner and accounts stay within assigned terms and credit linesResponding to payment related customer claimsProviding statements, invoice copies and supporting documentation to customersRequirementsHigh school educationKnowledge of the main finance proceduresConversational level of English languageStrong customer service skillsTeamwork and collaboration skillsPrecision in workFedEx Logistics provides freight forwarding, as well as import and export services that allow companies to reach markets throughout the world.
