He/She will help spearhead a modern buying experience across multiple industry use cases, with a strong focus on B2B buying motions as well as Direct-to-consumer use cases.What You’ll DoLead B2B Implementations: Architect solutions with order management, account hierarchies, and personalised cataloguesBuild Headless Infrastructure: Launch modern setup and roadmap for AI-first buying experienceEnsure Scalable Architecture: Apply Salesforce fundamentals for high-performing multi-cloud solutionsGovernance & Delivery: Set standards, review code, manage documentation, and oversee executionMentor Architects: Guide teams on best practices and transformation strategyAlign Tech to Business: Translate goals into agile, product-first roadmapsCollaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with vendors, backend teams, and architectsEnable CI/CD: Promote automation and continuous deliveryDefine Interfaces & Security: Specify integrations, data flows, and cybersecurityChampion Quality: Oversee technical excellence and automationManage Technical Debt: Prioritise non-functional tasks to reduce long-term riskQualifications And SkillsEducation & Experience: Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years in software development with a strong delivery recordSalesforce Expertise: Deep knowledge of Salesforce Commerce and platform; experience with CPQ, Order Management, Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, Flow, LWCArchitecture & Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical delivery, mentor teams, and train peersPreferred Background: Experience with Oracle ATG or similar legacy systems; Salesforce certifications (e.g. B2B Commerce Architect, System/Application Architect); familiarity with Agentforce and AI commerce use casesTechnical Depth: Strong grasp of software design, algorithms, multithreading, scalable systems, DevSecOps, CI/CD, microservices, APIs, and cloud servicesAgile Delivery: Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologiesCommunication & Collaboration: Advanced English; excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences; strong judgment and teamworkCultural Awareness: Comfortable working with diverse, global teams; empathetic and patient in coaching rolesWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and benefits packageFlexible working solutionsExcellent working environment – safety and ethics are important for usCulture & Values – we are more than the products we invent and produce – the way we do business is just as important.
