Commercial Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:Design large-scale solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in line with Australian standards and regulatory requirements.Prepare scope designs, technical specifications, single-line diagrams, and supporting documentation.Identify technical, safety, and operational risks, and propose effective mitigation strategies.Analyse interval data to determine system sizing, performance outputs, and overall project feasibility.Use design and modelling software including AutoCAD, PVSell, Orkestra, and HelioScope to produce accurate and compliant system designs.Collaborate closely with the Head Electrical Engineer and Commercial Business Development Manager to support proposals, design refinement, and technical assessments.Review commercial project requirements and provide technical guidance during quoting and solution development.Ensure engineering output aligns with internal quality standards and supports successful project delivery.Stay updated on emerging technologies, standards, and best practices relevant to solar and energy storage systems.About You:Degree-qualified Electrical EngineerStrong experience in commercial or utility-scale PV and BESSConfident in using industry-standard modelling and design toolsSolid understanding of Australian standards and grid compliance requirementsHighly analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative
