OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Commercial Specialist to help us to grow of our cosmetic and skincare portfolio across major regional retailers. This role is ideal for a candidate who combines strong sales acumen with category understanding and a passion for beauty retail.As a Commercial Specialist, you will drive the sell-in, sell-out, visibility, profitability & Operational Excellence of brands under cosmetics division — including skincare, haircare, and makeupKey Responsibilities:Commercial Ownership:· Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with assigned key accounts — covering sales targets, marketing calendars, and trade investment.· Own the P&L for each account, ensuring revenue growth, gross margin delivery, and efficient trade spending.· Negotiate annual terms, visibility agreements, and promo structures aligned with profitability goals.Retail & Category Development:· Lead category strategy and assortment planning for skincare, haircare, and makeup — ensuring product mix aligns with shopper needs and market trends.· Partner with retailer category teams to strengthen space, planograms, and shelf visibility.· Analyze sell-out data, stock rotation, and on-shelf availability (OSA) to optimize replenishment and prevent slow-moving inventory.Marketing & Activation Alignment· Work closely with marketing and brand teams to execute in-store activations, product launches, and promotional campaigns.· Drive brand visibility and promoter performance across key retail doors.· Ensure digital touchpoints (social media tie-ins, online listings, banners, and reviews) reflect the brand story consistently.E-Commerce Acceleration· Manage online key accounts (Amazon, Noon, retailer.com) focusing on content quality, share of search, pricing consistency, and online visibility.· Track and improve conversion rates, ratings, and digital merchandising KPIs.Cross-Functional Collaboration· Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and regulatory teams to ensure smooth execution — from order placement to on-shelf availability.· Partner with distributors and country teams across GCC to align pricing, activation, and stock flow.Performance Reporting· Deliver monthly sales performance reviews and forecasts.· Report on KPIs: sales achievement, ROI on promotions, numeric distribution, and category share gains.Qualifications & Experience· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.· 5–8 years of experience managing key accounts in beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG sectors within GCC.· Proven track record in managing retailers· Strong understanding of category dynamics, brand activation, trade marketing, and e-commerce performance levers.· Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data-driven decision-making· Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.· Ability to multitask across markets, categories, and partners in a fast-paced environment.· A supportive and inclusive work environment.Key Success Metrics· Achievement of sell-in and sell-out targets.· Growth in distribution, visibility, and ROI on promotions.· Improved category ranking and brand share in each account.· Optimized trade spends and stock rotation.· High customer satisfaction and repeat orders.What We Offer· Competitive salary + performance-based incentives.· Opportunity to work with international brands and lead category development in growing markets.· A dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with regional exposure and cross-functional collaboration.· Clear path for career progression into Regional Commercial or Brand Leadership roles.
