You’ll learn valuable kitchen skills, support daily food service, and help maintain the high standards our guests expect.Key Responsibilities:● Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of breakfast, lunch, and pastry items according to recipes and standards● Support kitchen sections including salads, sandwiches, wraps, one-bowl meals, and baked goods.● Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station and assist with general kitchen cleanliness.● Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation practices.● Prepare ingredients — washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, and portioning items.● Help with plating and assembling dishes for service.● Assist with receiving and storing deliveries properly.● Work efficiently to support service during busy periods.● Follow directions from the Demi Chef de Partie, Chef de Partie, and Head Chef.● Take part in kitchen opening and closing procedures as assigned.Qualifications:● Previous kitchen or café experience is a plus but not required — we’re happy to train motivated individuals.● Passion for food, pastries, and learning new techniques.● Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.● Positive, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude.● Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety standards.● Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.● Culinary school training or certification is mandatory.
