Commissioning Engineer (Offshore Equipment)Location: Gdańsk, Poland (On-site with travel)Employment Type: Full-timeOverviewWe are recruiting a Commissioning Engineer to support the build, integration and commissioning of advanced offshore equipment used for wind turbine installation, subsea operations and heavy-lift applications. This role involves hands-on engineering, system testing, troubleshooting and working closely with design and fabrication teams to bring complex machinery into full operational readiness.You will participate in the full commissioning lifecycle, from FAT/SAT to on-site integration and offshore trials.Key ResponsibilitiesCommissioning & TestingExecute commissioning activities across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and control systemsCarry out FAT, SAT and functional testingValidate system performance and support final operational sign-offProduce commissioning documentation, test reports and deviation logsTechnical SupportDiagnose issues during assembly, integration and initial operationCoordinate with project, design and controls engineers to resolve faultsSupport client demonstrations, training and offshore mobilisationIntegration & QualityEnsure subsystem and full-system integration aligns with project standardsFollow engineering drawings, commissioning plans and safety proceduresSupport updates, corrective actions and design feedbackTravel & Site WorkSupport projects at client sites, fabrication yards and offshore locations as requiredAbout YouHands-on and comfortable working across multiple engineering disciplinesStrong problem-solving abilityAble to work in dynamic engineering environmentsFlexible with travel for onshore and offshore assignmentsExperience RequiredBackground in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls or related engineeringExperience in commissioning, testing or system integrationUnderstanding of hydraulic, mechanical or electrical systemsExperience with marine, offshore, heavy machinery, automation or subsea equipment is beneficialEU passport required for travel and offshore access
