With AENU, we are looking to create a sizable and measurable positive impact on the planet and society, transforming current challenges into opportunities for a better future.We are seeking a Communications Manager who will drive AENU’s external communications and position us as a thought leader in climate tech and venture capital. Your mission will be to amplify our voice by crafting compelling narratives that engage founders, LPs, co-investors and the broader ecosystem.TasksCommunications & Branding StrategyOwn the end-to-end communications and branding strategy, ensuring consistency across all channels (website, social media, newsletter, etc.)Translate investment themes and strategic initiatives into clear and engaging narrativesSafeguard AENU’s brand identity and voice across touchpoints, both internally and externallyEvents & Project ExecutionLead the structured planning and execution of high-quality events, including the annual AENU Summit (>150 guests) and conference side eventsSupport investment team members with conference and speaker preparationDevelop and manage event timelines, logistics, stakeholder coordination and post-event reportingContent & Channel ManagementPlan and produce original content (e.g. blog posts, founder features, opinion pieces and newsletters)Manage our newsletter and social media channels (primarily LinkedIn)Draft and coordinate press releases and secure coverage for key milestones (e.g. investments, events)Market Insights & Stakeholder RelationsConduct market and competitor analysisManage external stakeholders and the marketing budgetBuild and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets and ecosystem partnersRequirements4 - 6 years of professional experience in communications, ideally within VC or climate/tech startup environmentsStrong, structured project management skills with attention to detail by using tools like Notion (or similar) to ensure a clear and transparent process; especially for organizing events and executing marketing projects Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both German and EnglishConfident storyteller able to translate complex topics into clear narratives for diverse audiences including founders, LPs and policymakersProven experience managing social media (especially LinkedIn) and newsletters, with a sharp editorial eyeProficient with a modern marketing tool stack (e.g. Mailchimp, Canva, light web design tools, PowerPoint and event registration platforms)Fluent in or eager to adopt AI tools for content creation and planning (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, GrammarlyGO) as well as basic image/video generationStrategic and hands-on: you enjoy working independently and cross-functionally while staying close to the executionMission-aligned and motivated by AENU’s values and long-term impactBenefitsA key role in shaping the communications, content and brand presence of an ambitious, values-driven VC fundThe chance to grow into a strategic communications and content lead over timeHybrid flexibility: work from our Berlin HQ or partially remotely within GermanyPerks-package including mobility, health and professional development-budgetHigh trust environment with flat hierarchiesOpportunity to work with an amazing mission-driven team, striving to create a sizable impact for the planet and society, drive positive change in the VC & tech communityAccess to a wide and empowering network in the startup, venture and impact / sustainability ecosystemPractical InfoStart date: as soon as possibleJob type: Full-timeLocation: Berlin or partially remote (Germany-based)Application: CV via JoinWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in all its forms.
