Job DescriptionAre you passionate about building and driving strategic ambitions and rolling out plans with global and regional market needs, while creating exciting integrated communications experiences?We are looking for a strategist to join Our LEGO Agnecy (internal agency for China & APAC) leadership Team and Strategy Team.The ideal candidate must bring with them experience in thought and implementation leadership, so someone who knows their owned from their earned, and has experience in consumer journeys, and who still gets as excited about a planning process as they do about big bold brave ideas.No relocation assistance is offered for this positionCore ResponsibilitiesBuild and drive strategic ambitions in a newly formed discipline within the strategic department of LEGO Agency China & APAC.Grow and develop the team and the wider agency and key stakeholders in the discipline of multichannel communications planning, combining owned, earned, paid and shared media.Provide thought leadership and educate key partners internally on industry best practices.Acts as a connector across key stakeholders to drive awareness, innovations and impact.Support the team in bringing big ideas to life across our ecosystem in both campaign periods and across the year, through clear, compelling and connected user journeys across multiple touchpoints.Apply your understanding of how brands grow, and how effective comms create impact and drive results.Help to shape and develop our planning processes and collaboration across marketing and channel teams.Interested and curious about the world, challenges our view, and brings new perspectives to how we work.Play your part in our team succeedingThe LEGO Agency (OLA) is the global LEGO in-house advertising agency, creating award-winning and compelling content and campaigns for the LEGO brand. The Global Communication Strategy department is all about understanding audience behaviours and inspiring creative work. The team leads and develops strategies for all LEGO channels, earned, owned and paid.Do you have what it takes?Professional experience and relevant Marketing/Media qualifications with 12+ years experience in a communications planning or strategy role, responsible for channel and campaign planning and communication architecture.Strong leadership skills, with experience in working with cross functional teamsExperience in managing senior stakeholdersExperience in designing new processes, tools and ways of working to deliver integrated communicationsExperience of using data-driven planning tools, audience insight (qual and quant) and effectiveness data to build plans.Experience of working with channels / media owners to develop creative and executional thinking.Ability to stay ahead and move with consumer behaviours, technology platforms, and cultural shiftsExcellent leadership and communication skills –to be a key member of our strategy leadership teamPassion for helping to create communication work that has an impact, that matters and that’s memorableMust be fluent in both English & MandarinNice to have Experience within a global strategy/planning context beneficial, or working within a ‘multiple markets / regional’ capacity.Experience in Kids/Toy brand preferredExcellent presentation skillsCross-org collaborationsApplications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
