🚀 We’re Hiring: Community & Marketing Operations Lead (30 hrs/week)GC Collective is growing — and we’re looking for a Community & Marketing Operations Lead to help bring structure, creativity, and operational excellence to our fast-scaling community of General Counsel across North America.Reporting directly to the Founder, this role sits at the intersection of operations and community engagement. You’ll play a pivotal role in turning strategy into action — streamlining processes, coordinating partner initiatives, executing marketing campaigns, and ensuring our members and sponsors have a seamless, high-value experience.If you love juggling multiple projects, thinking in systems, and seeing your work translate directly into community impact, this role is for you.💫 About GC CollectiveGC Collective is a fast-growing leadership and community platform for General Counsel and CLOs. With 300+ members globally, we offer high-impact programming — leadership workshops, executive peer advisory cohorts, and deep-dive learning labs on topics that help GCs scale their legal department.Founded by seasoned leaders Paula Pépin and Jenn Smyth-Whelly, GC Collective exists to support the unique realities of the GC role. We combine community, coaching, and practical learning to help legal executives grow their leadership, sharpen their impact, and build meaningful peer relationships.🔧 What You'll Do1. Strategic Execution & Project ManagementSupport the Founding Team in translating ideas and strategic priorities into executable plans.Manage key projects across community growth, marketing, and partnerships — tracking milestones, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery.Anticipate needs, propose solutions, and help keep the team focused on what matters most.2. Operations & Process ImprovementBuild and document scalable processes that support GC Collective’s growth.Develop internal playbooks and workflows for recurring activities (member onboarding, event logistics, marketing campaigns).Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, alignment, and member experience.3. Community OperationsManage the end-to-end member journey — onboarding, engagement, and offboarding — ensuring every interaction feels personal and high-touch.Coordinate member communications, keeping members informed and connected.4. Marketing OperationsManage the editorial and campaign calendar across channels (LinkedIn, email, and community).Partner with the team on special campaigns and support the execution of campaigns.5. Partner & Sponsorship CoordinationAct as the main point of contact for sponsors and partners, ensuring deliverables are met and communications run smoothly.Manage sponsor-related communications, field sponsor questions, and prepare recap materials.Track sponsor commitments and activations, ensuring seamless collaboration with the GC Collective team.Help coordinate and deliver partner-related programming (sponsored dinners, learning labs, etc.).🌟 About YouYou’re an operational problem-solver who loves bringing structure to creative ideas.You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities evolve quickly.You’re exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.You have 2+ years of experience in an operations role — ideally in a startup or membership-based environment.You’re comfortable using (and improving) tools like HubSpot, Google Workspace, and ClickUp.You’re a strong communicator — clear, warm, and adaptable to different audiences.You’re resourceful, self-directed, and love figuring things out.💫 Why Join UsAt GC Collective, you’ll help shape a movement that’s redefining what it means to lead in-house.
