Our Community Café at Lipscomb Hall, Cockfield, Teesdale, is more than just a place to eat; it’s an inclusive hub that provides healthy, delicious, and incredibly affordable food (from breakfast and lunch to barista coffee and cakes) while fostering hope, connection, and growth.As a Community Café Assistant, you’ll be key to ensuring the experience for every customer, volunteer, and learner is truly exceptional. You will work alongside and inspire learners pursuing catering and hospitality qualifications, volunteers, apprentices, and those gaining work experience. You should hold a relevant food hygiene certificate (or a strong willingness to achieve this).A Warm Communicator: You possess excellent communication skills that are calm, relaxed, encouraging, and supportive.
