We connect insurers, startups, technology providers, and thought leaders to accelerate transformation and collaboration across the Irish and global insurance ecosystem.As our community continues to grow, we are seeking a dynamic, creative, and people-oriented Community Leader to manage and engage our expanding network — online and in person.Role DescriptionThe Community Leader will play a pivotal role in shaping, nurturing, and growing the Instech.ie community. You’ll lead initiatives that connect our members, amplify our impact, and create meaningful experiences that drive engagement and collaboration.You’ll be responsible for community engagement, event management, and communications across digital and physical channels. Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll ensure Instech.ie remains the go-to platform for innovation and connection within the Irish insurance ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Management & EngagementDevelop and execute strategies to strengthen engagement across Instech.ie’s membership base and wider community.Manage member communications, onboarding, and feedback to enhance community satisfaction and participation.Build relationships with key stakeholders across insurers, startups, technology partners, and academia.Events & ExperiencesPlan, coordinate, and deliver in-person and virtual events — including monthly meetups, workshops, and webinars.Support the planning and execution of flagship events such as the Transformation Summit.Manage event logistics, partnerships, sponsorships, and attendee engagement.Communications & MarketingOversee Instech.ie’s external communications — newsletters, social media, and mail campaigns.Create engaging, relevant content that showcases community achievements, events, and insights.Maintain and optimise the organisation’s CRM to ensure accurate member data and effective communication.Operations & ReportingTrack and report on community growth, engagement metrics, and campaign performance.Work collaboratively with leadership to align community activities with organisational goals.Identify new opportunities for member value and strategic partnerships.About YouWe’re looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. You’re passionate about community building, technology, and innovation — and you know how to bring people together around a shared mission.Essential Skills & Experience:4+ years’ experience in community management, events, marketing, or communications (experience in tech or professional networks a plus).Proven track record of managing both online and offline communities or events.Excellent communication and storytelling skills — written and verbal.Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and digital communication tools.A strong design aesthetic and proficiency with tools such as Canva & powerpoint Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Collaborative mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for connecting people.Desirable:Experience working in or with insurance, fintech, or innovation-focused organisations.Familiarity with member-based organisations or associations.Content creation (basic design, video, or copywriting) skills.What We OfferCompetitive salary (€60,000 per annum)Hybrid working model (remote + Dublin-based events/meetings)Opportunity to lead and grow Ireland’s most dynamic insurance innovation communityAccess to exclusive events, networks, and professional development opportunitiesSupportive, collaborative, and purpose-driven team culture
