Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position based in Muscat for the role of Company Secretary. The Company Secretary will oversee corporate governance, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and maintain effective communication between the management, board, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing and filing corporate documents, managing board meetings, drafting meeting minutes, and maintaining statutory records. The role also involves ensuring adherence to company bylaws, managing legal correspondence, and advising on best practices related to corporate governance. Qualifications Thorough understanding of corporate governance, legal compliance, and company secretarial practices.Strong documentation skills, including experience with preparing, filing, and maintaining company records and meeting minutes.Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with management, board members, and external stakeholders.Ability to work independently and handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.Proficiency in relevant software tools for documentation and compliance tracking.Bachelor’s degree in Law, Corporate Governance, Business Administration, or a related field; professional qualifications such as ICSA/CS is a significant advantage.Experience in a similar role within the industrial, trading, or machinery sector is a strong plus.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks specific to Oman and the region.
