Competition Paralegal

Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a Paralegal to join the Antitrust & Competition team of a top US law firm on an initial 6 month fixed-term contract basis.The successful candidate will be supporting Associates and Partners with legal and administrative tasks on transactional work. Duties will include: Carrying out desktop research on target business activities and areas of overlap between merging parties. Assisting with multi-jurisdictional filing analysis, including for foreign investment reviews. Research on precedent cases, including with respect to relevant market definitions. Research on points of law and process. Case management, sharing and filing relevant documents. To be considered, candidates must hold a law degree, some prior experience within Antitrust and/or Competition and strong interpersonal skills.This role is eligbe for hybrid working (4 days in the office and 1 from home) and a competitive annual salary plus paid overtime.
