More specifically: ensuring the organization’s adherence to regulatory frameworks including general compliance obligations of a payment service provider, code of integrity, GDPR, DORA, ESG,… while supporting internal control processes and the follow-up of compliance-related action plans. You will collaborate cross-functionally to embed compliance into business operations and contribute to a culture of integrity and accountability.providing expert compliance support for the development of written procedures and controls, including the relationships between the procedures and controls of different services. Your tasks will include:Regulatory ComplianceEnsure ongoing compliance with GDPR by supporting the DPO and the business in creating and maintaining data protection policies, records of processing, balancing tests, access rights requests and vendor oversight.Provide legal contractual support to the different departments in implementing and monitoring the contractual compliance with DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) requirements for customers and vendors, including audits and incident reporting.Coordinate ESG initiatives of the different departments as well as the yearly gathering of relevant ESG data for VSME reporting and carbon footprint calculation. Coordinate a yearly evaluation of the ESG efforts, in line with the company’s strategy and roadmap, including if required, a public report on sustainability.Support the compliance officer for all follow up relatedInternal Controls & ReportingSetup within existing tools an internal control framework including risk assessments, control testing, and remediation tracking for specific compliance matters.Preparing compliance reports to senior management, audit committees and regulatory bodies (NBB, …).Action Plan Follow-UpTrack and follow up on compliance-related action plans across departments.Ensure timely resolution of audit findings and regulatory recommendations.Support change management initiatives related to compliance improvements.Maintain a compliance dashboard and ensure timely updates and escalation of unresolved issues.Training & AwarenessOrganize and deliver training sessions on regulatory updates and compliance obligations tailored to the activities of the company.Promote a compliance culture through stakeholder engagement and education.What Makes You a Great FitThis role is ideal for someone who wants to support the legal and regulatory compliance function within a dynamic fintech environment.You’ll thrive in this role if you:have a Master degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field.have 3–5 years of experience in compliance, internal audit, or risk management.have strong knowledge of GDPR, ESG frameworks, and financial reporting controls.
