Job Title: Compliance & Privacy Analyst / EngineerDuration: 06 Months Contract with the possibility of extension or full-time conversionPay Rate: $48/hour on W2 - $50/hour on W2Job Description: The Compliance & Privacy Analyst/Engineer serves as a key steward of organizational trust by ensuring that compliance and privacy activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and transparently. This role manages day-to-day security and privacy interactions, including responding to security questionnaires and privacy requests, while coordinating input from internal subject-matter experts. By maintaining compliance with industry standards, improving response processes, and fostering clear communication, this role supports both operational excellence and the organization’s reputation for trust and integrity.The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of data protection and security frameworks with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives that uphold privacy, compliance, and client confidence.Key Responsibilities:Act as the main point of contact for security and privacy inquiries, ensuring prompt, accurate, and transparent responses.Coordinate with internal teams to collect information and complete security questionnaires in alignment with industry standards.Maintain records and update documentation related to security and privacy interactions.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency.Communicate effectively across teams to ensure alignment and support trust-based relationships.Lead and support Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new projects and systems.Ensure compliance with global data protection laws and internal privacy policies (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed privacy-by-design principles into projects and products.Assist in the development and delivery of privacy training and awareness programs.Support internal audits and external assessments related to data privacy and information security.Requirements:2–4 years of experience in security governance, risk management, compliance, or privacy-related roles.Working knowledge of data privacy regulations and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27701).Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Experience with frameworks such as SIG Questionnaire, SOC 2, or NIST is preferred.Familiarity with GRC or privacy management tools (e.g., OneTrust, Drata, or similar).Foundational to advanced understanding of privacy principles and compliance best practices.
