Financial Analyst

Harmer has been engaged by our client to identify a high-performing Financial Analyst to join their growing finance organization. We are seeking a detail-driven and strategic professional with experience in public accounting or corporate/industry finance, who excels in transforming data into clear, compelling insights. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and brings strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.Develop and maintain financial models, waterfalls, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic business decisions.Build and deliver executive-ready presentations and reporting packages, including board-level materials, leveraging strong PowerPoint and storytelling skills.Partner cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and leadership teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.Assist with internal and external audit activities, ensuring preparedness and compliance with guidelines.Analyze financial performance, trends, and KPIs and provide actionable recommendations that drive operational excellence.Support special projects, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.2+ years of experience in public accounting (audit or advisory) and/or industry/corporate finance roles.Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting fundamentals.Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.Exceptional PowerPoint skills and proven ability to present financial information clearly to senior leadership.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.#14758
