Job Description

We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance function at Pionew Ireland. You will contribute to the development of the company’s regulatory framework, ensuring alignment with MiCA obligations and broader regulatory developments across the region. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who is proactive and confident in taking ownership of a wide range of responsibilities. As a compliance analyst, you will directly report to the Head of Compliance, this position offers a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the evolving crypto landscape and contribute to building a strong compliance framework.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Compliance Framework including policies, procedures, and internal controls.Assist with compliance risk assessments and the implementation of mitigation strategiesComplete compliance monitoring reviews and implement the compliance testing plan.Maintain clear documentation of compliance decisions and support internal and external audits, including inspections by the Central Bank of IrelandIdentify upstream regulation and collaborate with the business to implement new regulatory requirements.Assist in the design and delivery of compliance training and awareness sessions for internal teams.Support compliance with MiCAR, CPC, F&P, AMLD5/6, and other relevant crypto regulatory frameworks.Manage and support the submission of regulatory reports.Investigate regulatory breaches and oversee the remediation of same.Support the development of a robust compliance culture and champion compliance across the business.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on compliance matters.Maintain accurate, accessible, and up-to-date compliance records.Monitor and interpret upcoming regulatory developments across the EU, contributing to the enterprise’s regulatory horizon scanning efforts.Support internal reporting by preparing clear, reliable management information for senior business leaders.Work closely with Operations, Risk, and Technology teams to ensure new products and services are structured and launched with the right compliance controls in placeKey RequirementsBachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.Minimum of 3 years experience in compliance, financial services, fintech, or crypto/virtual assets.Strong knowledge of MiCA and EU financial regulations, compliance/Compliance Institute/IOB, CAMS certification is preferable.Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Located within Ireland.Why Join Pionew Ireland Limited?Help to shape the compliance function in a dynamic regulatory environment.Work with a talented team dedicated to maintaining the highest compliance standards.Competitive salary and benefits package.
