You will identify, analyze, and assess compliance risks across the organization; design and evaluate the effectiveness of manual and automated controls; and guide our teams toward a strong culture of compliance and accountability.This position requires strategic thinking, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to influence and collaborate with leaders at all levels across the organization.General Objective of the RoleIdentify, analyze, and evaluate compliance risks across the organization. Advise on the design, documentation, and implementation of compliance controls; conduct design, implementation, and operational-effectiveness testing; and propose improvements to strengthen risk management and ensure adherence to applicable frameworks (ISO 31000, ISO 37002, ISO 37008, and internal control standards).Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, analyze, and assess compliance risks throughout the company to ensure alignment with Viva’s risk-management methodology.Advise on the design, documentation, and implementation of manual and automated compliance controls.Perform design and operational-effectiveness testing of controls using best-practice methodologies and internal standards.Produce high-quality deliverables in accordance with corporate frameworks, industry guidelines, and regulatory expectations.Build and maintain strong relationships with process owners, promoting a culture of commitment and continuous improvement.Provide follow-up on audit findings, ensuring timely execution of remediation plans.Develop recommendations and propose improvements to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of risk-management processes.Investigate and analyze cases, conduct interviews, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports.Requirements & QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, Law, or related field (required).Experience6+ years in Compliance, Internal Control, or related functions.6+ years analyzing compliance risks and conducting investigations.6+ years designing policies, procedures, and control frameworks (COSO, ISO, etc.).6+ years preparing reports, findings, and executive follow-ups.Experience managing GRC tools.Technical Knowledge (Required)Strong knowledge of COSO ERM, ISO 31000, ISO 37002, ISO 37008, and Compliance frameworks.Certifications such as CCEP, ERM, CFE, PLD/FT, CDPSE, or similar (required).Intermediate English proficiency.Soft Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and investigative thinking.Ability to influence without authority.High attention to detail and methodological discipline.Strong communication and stakeholder-engagement skills.Ability to navigate ambiguity and propose practical solutions.A commitment to ethics, transparency, and organizational integrity.Benefits You Will Enjoy as #TeamViva Flexible schedule.Inspirational and fun work environment (#TheBestAirlineToWork).Unlimited vacation days from day one.Savings fund & savings account.Staff Travel: Discounted flights for you and up to 12 loved ones (after 6 months).MyIDTravel: Fly worldwide with 20+ airline alliances (after 6 months).Life & medical insurance + 24/7 online medical assistance for your family.Access to exclusive discounts (gyms, retail, universities, restaurants, and more).Above-the-law benefitsAbout VivaWe are Mexico’s lowest-cost airline, operating the most modern fleet in Latin America and rapidly expanding globally.
