Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our U.S.-based technology and risk management team. This role focuses on analyzing organizational information systems, designing secure computer-based processes, and implementing cybersecurity architectures that enhance business resilience and operational efficiency.The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and secure technology solutions, ensuring that cybersecurity principles are integrated throughout every layer of the organization’s IT ecosystem.Key Responsibilities# Analyse business and user requirements across the enterprise and map how computer-based processing systems with integrated cybersecurity controls can meet those needs.# Design, specify and implement secure computing systems and networks, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, CIS Controls), and organisational risk appetite.# Lead the integration of identity & access management (IAM), security information and event management (SIEM), cloud/hybrid security architectures, incident monitoring/response and systems vulnerability management.# Collaborate with IT infrastructure, DevSecOps, cloud engineering and compliance teams to embed cybersecurity design from the ground-up rather than retrofit.# Develop systems-analysis artefacts: system requirement specifications, security architecture diagrams, threat models, control implementation plans, system validation/verification.# Monitor system performance and security metrics, identify gaps or emerging threats, and recommend system enhancements or redesigns.# Document and present findings, architecture road-maps, risk assessments and remediation plans to executive leadership and senior stakeholders.# Guide and mentor junior analysts, propagate security-systems best practices, and contribute to elevating the overall systems-engineering maturity of the cybersecurity team.Qualifications☆ United States Citizen or Canadian citizen, eligible to work in the U.S. under the USMCA/TN “Computer Systems Analyst” classification.☆ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology or a closely related discipline.☆ Approximately 7–10 years (or more) of professional experience in cybersecurity systems analysis, information systems design, or an equivalent mix of education + experience.Other Requirements ♧ Demonstrated capability to analyse complex information systems, define processing requirements, design and implement secure system solutions and deliver measurable outcomes (consistent with the systems analyst definition).♧ Proven working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and tools (IAM, SIEM, SOAR, threat-intelligence, cloud/hybrid architectures, vulnerability management).♧ Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills: able to translate technical analysis into business-value language, present to senior management, build consensus across teams.♧ History of working in U.S.-based assignments (or with U.S. clients) and a willingness to engage as part of a U.S. employer-supervised role consistent with TN classification.About UsWe are a U.S.-based business and technology consulting firm committed to digital transformation, data-driven innovation and industry-leading cybersecurity operations.
