Scope of WorkThe role of the Privatization Project Manager will provide the necessary support, facilitate, and coordinate activities for the privatization process. He/she will have an active role in planning and management of day-to-day activities of the project. He/she will be responsible for drafting, developing, and regularly updating the documentation concerning the project as well as ensuring that realistic project timelines are developed and are adhered to. In addition, the Privatization Project Manager will proactively manage and effectively resolve potential issues that can result in delays and non-completion of tasks.
He/she will communicate with key stakeholders and develop business relationships with various entities. TasksDevelop a draft of general privatization plan which includes steps from initiation of the privatization to the final process in accordance with the defined KPIs. Analyze legal and regulatory framework and provide recommendations on the necessary legislative and process changes. Handle all privatization activities with all necessary data and information included. Prepare information materials on the overall project status and for particular organizations. Conduct meetings and maintain regular communication with various stakeholders. Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, law or management.
Master’s degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in investment management, business development, marketing or consulting. Experience with government entities and their mandate and processes is an advantage. Good knowledge of data management and analytic skills. Excellent knowledge of and experience with business analysis.
