Role OverviewWe are looking for a VP Sales Asia to lead our commercial activities across Southeast Asia, China, India, and Australia. This role is key to driving sales excellence, strengthening customer relationships, and leading the evolution of our go-to-market strategy in the region. You will be responsible for managing a diverse regional team, driving revenue growth across traditional and emerging markets, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer-centric, value-based selling. The role is based in Thailand and reports directly to the Group Chief Commercial Officer. Key ResponsibilitiesLead, develop, and manage the regional commercial organization across Asia-Pacific.
Define and execute the commercial strategy across multiple markets, aligning with global objectives. Drive consistent commercial processes and sales excellence across countries and business units. Support transformation of the sales network, ensuring effective coverage, structure, and execution. Identify market opportunities and new business segments to expand regional revenue streams. Work closely with marketing, technical, and product teams to strengthen the company’s value proposition and competitive positioning. Enhance customer listening processes to better understand and address client needs. Drive consultative selling practices in the sales force, combining product and technical knowledge with business acumen.
Lead key customer negotiations and build strategic partnerships across the region. Monitor performance against commercial KPIs and ensure accurate forecasting and planning. Represent the region’s voice in global commercial leadership forums. Candidate ProfileMinimum 10+ years of experience in commercial leadership roles within industrial B2B sectors such as packaging, chemicals, ingredients, or automotive. Proven track record in consultative selling, value-based commercial strategies, and transformation leadership. Strong understanding of technical sales and product-support functions. Demonstrated experience managing multicultural sales teams across Southeast Asia, China, India, and/or Australia. Strategic thinker with excellent operational and execution capabilities.
Ability to build trust and influence at all levels — from local sales teams to global leadership. Fluent in English; knowledge of an Asian language is a strong plus.
