Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive landscaping and gardening plans for the resortManage and maintain the diverse range of tropical plants and trees across the propertyOversee the design and installation of new garden areas and landscape featuresImplement effective pest and disease management strategiesManage irrigation systems to ensure optimal water usage and plant healthLead and mentor a team of gardeners and landscaping staffDevelop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective operationsCollaborate with other departments to align horticultural activities with overall resort objectivesImplement sustainable and environmentally friendly gardening practicesEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations in all horticultural operationsStay updated on the latest trends and innovations in tropical horticulture and landscapingQualificationsCandidate Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Botany, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in horticulture management, preferably in a tropical resort settingExtensive knowledge of tropical plant species and cultivation techniquesProven expertise in landscape design and maintenanceStrong skills in pest and disease management for tropical plantsExperience in managing irrigation systems and water conservation techniquesDemonstrated ability in budget management and cost controlExcellent team leadership and management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in horticultural software and Microsoft Office suiteRelevant horticultural certifications (e. g.
