We are seeking a highly connected and influential Government Relations Manager to representour organization. The ideal candidate will have established, trusted relationships with seniorgovernment officials, ministers, and decision-makers, and will be capable of fostering strategicpartnerships that align with our mission and objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and expand strong relationships with government ministries,agencies, and officials at national and local levels. Act as the primary liaison between the organization and government stakeholders,ensuring consistent and effective communication. Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership with government bodies insupport of our programs and initiatives.
Support advocacy efforts by engaging policymakers and influencing relevant policydiscussions. Facilitate introductions and high-level meetings between the organization’s leadershipand key government representatives. Monitor government priorities, legislative developments, and policy changes that couldimpact our mission and activities. Represent the organization at official government events, forums, and high-profilegatherings. Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, political liaison,or related field. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Political Science, Business, or Law. In-depth understanding of governmental structures, decision-making processes, and political landscapes in the country. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a high level of cultural sensitivity.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Background in diplomacy, public policy, law, or political science. Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment.
