Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interviewREQUIREMENT- Must be a US Citizen and must pass a federal background review and drug screenDuties/ResponsibilitiesOversee construction management of including on-going construction project and renovationsReview contractor’s Quality Assurance PlanOversee and perform three-phase inspections and surveillance of construction work to ensure the work is in accordance with the contract and specificationsReview of design, comment logging and back-checking for Design-Build projectsMonitor submittals utilizing a submittal status logReview and comment on the accuracy of the construction contractor’s requests for paymentReview and acknowledge daily reports including verification of the project schedule by indicating the activities worked on that day and the activities behind scheduleMaintain orderly working files for correspondence, minutes of meetings and conferences, payments, updated progress schedules, monthly progress reports, punch lists, field changesReview and process Requests for Information (RFI), and contract documents including amendments, notices to proceed, change orders, modifications, and other locally generated documents developed during the course of constructionSupport construction contract modificationsPerform critical path schedule reviewEducation And Experience7+ years of engineering and construction management experienceExperience with construction administration and capability of handling large projectsBachelor of Science Degree; Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural or Geotechnical EngineeringUS Army Corp of Engineering or other federal project experience, preferredExperience with Resident Management System (RMS), preferredExperience reading construction plans and specificationsGood written communication and organizational skillsPhysical RequirementsPhysically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignmentsShould enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditionsAbility to lift 40 poundsBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.
