This individual will oversee all activities to ensure customers' expectations are met or exceeded and our own profitability goals. This includes meeting all contractual obligations, schedule & other commitments, while promoting a safe work culture.Construction Project Manager Essential FunctionsAttend regular meetings with the project team for planning and to assess progressProvide total coordination of all project management activities on selected accountsPurchase and manage subcontractorsPrepare CPM schedules on Microsoft projectExercise extensive turnover and preplanning activities per Company proceduresConduct short interval planning meetings with foreman subcontractors and ownersEnsure projects are executed in accordance with our corporate safety programPerform productivity studies on an ongoing basisProvide accurate cost reporting and forecasting project status on a monthly basisApprove equipment and material submittals to ensure contract commitments are metPrepare quantity takeoffs for estimating and purchase takeoffsAnalyze all system designs for potential design build or value engineeringDemonstrate good leadership and communications to allProvide quality customer service and follow-up to customers as neededInterface with customers all levels and coordinate the status of upcoming projectsOther duties as assignedConstruction Project Manager Experience, Technical Skills & Attributes RequiredMinimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical construction project managementAbility to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, with various departments of the company, as well as clients and subcontractorsGood organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilityDetail oriented with the ability to multi-taskEnergetic with a high sense of urgencyStrong computer skills (Excel, Word, Project).Capable of reading and interpreting P&ID's and all other technical project documents, preferredThorough knowledge of piping and sheet-metal systems, preferredKnowledge of AutoCAD is a plusAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.Position is full-time Monday - Friday and is not a remote work position.McClure Company is an Equal opportunity employer.
