Company Description The African Center for Governance, Asset Recovery and Sustainable Development (the African Center) is a non-profit, civil society organization focusing on the development of policies and laws, capacity building on anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, and management of returned assets. Our key objectives include enhancing governance and accountability systems, recovering and returning stolen assets, and implementing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We collaborate with governments, international organizations, and NGOs to promote rule of law, peace & security, good governance, inclusion, and reduce corruption in line with goal 16.4 of the SDGs. Role Description This is a Consultant at Africenterdev, located in Abuja. The Consultant will be responsible for conducting research, developing strategies, and providing expert advice on governance and asset recovery. Qualifications Expertise in anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, and governanceExperience in policy development, capacity building, and asset recoveryStrong research and analytical skillsProficiency in preparing reports and policy recommendationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholdersBackground in law, political science, or related fields is a plusFamiliarity with the implementation of UN Sustainable Development Goals
