Syntax has offices worldwide, and partners with Oracle, SAP, AWS, Microsoft, IBM and other global technology leaders.Position Title: SAP CO Consultant (Focus on Finance & Controlling)Purpose of the PositionAs a member of the Finance & Controlling Excellence department, the SAP CO Consultant supports our clients in implementing and further developing their controlling processes in SAP S/4HANA.The role combines a solid technical understanding with business management expertise and the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.Main ResponsibilitiesSupport in the implementation and customization of SAP CO components (cost center accounting, internal orders, product costing, profitability analysis, profit center accounting, etc.) Participation in analysis workshops to gather business requirements Implementation of sub-processes in close collaboration with senior consultants and project management Preparation of documentation, test cases, and training materials Execution of system tests as well as support and user training activities Collaboration with related SAP modules (FI, SD, MM, PP) to ensure process integration Support for data migration and rollout activities ProfessionalRequired Qualifications and SkillsDegree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification Initial to several years of experience in SAP CO consulting or application support for controlling processes Solid knowledge of CO components and basic understanding of integration with FI Interest in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling functions Basic understanding of business processes and reporting requirements PersonalAnalytical thinking and enthusiasm for process design Strong willingness to learn and openness to new technologies Good communication and teamwork skills Independent and structured working style Good command of German and English Willingness to travel for project-related assignments Expected Performance and Level of ResponsibilityTakes independent responsibility for work packages within CO sub-projects Works closely with senior consultants and continuously develops own expertise Ensures quality in documentation, customizing, and testing processes Actively contributes to knowledge building and project success within the team Why Syntax?Become a part of our success story and work in a company with exciting innovation projects that are causing a stir across the industry.
