DescriptionMilliman’s Dubai Health Practice is looking for a qualified health actuary with more than 8 years of experience, to fill a client facing roleEducational RequirementsAn undergraduate degree pursuing actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative course work,Must be a qualified actuary – registered as a Fellow of a recognized global actuarial bodyOutstanding academic recordExcellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint etc.)Experience And Skill RequirementsMinimum 8 years of actuarial experience, with a substantial part of the experience in health-related workSuperior math aptitude and strong analytical abilityExperience with reserving and pricing techniques for health insurance productsWorking knowledge of actuarial concepts specific to health systems, such as utilisation vs cost, clinical coding systems, Diagnosis-Related Groupers, value-based healthcare etcClient facing experience, including drafting and reviewing of formal actuarial reports as well as presentation of technical content to senior stakeholdersExcellent communication (both written and verbal)Good organizational skillsWillingness to learnAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to work under pressureMust be willing to travel regularly throughout the region
