Content and Marketing Executive

Job Description: TechRound is one of the UK and Europe’s fastest growing and best-known online publications covering startups, tech and entrepreneurs. Based in London and Dubai, we cover and feature startups and innovative businesses in and with an interest in the UK, Europe, USA and Middle East.We are looking for a content writer and operations assistant to help with a range of daily tasks including content posting and writing, weekly and monthly campaigns and research into startups and some of the most innovative companies in the UK, Europe, US and UAE. You will work closely with our digital marketing and editorial teams and will report directly to the Editor.Suitable candidates should have a basic understanding of WordPress and should be able to write content, guides, news articles and more. ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for the posting of content on TechRound and will report directly to the Editor and marketing team. Responsibilities include:Daily posting of content (2-3 articles per day)Researching startups and tech newsAssisting with planning and implementing campaigns and featuresWorking with the editorial team on features, lists and campaignsOutreach and business development opportunitiesCorresponding with clients and customers, conducting and managing interviewsSupport in monthly competition organisation and admin  Qualifications & ExperienceSuitable candidates should be able to read, write and speak English to native or bilingual standard. Required qualifications and experience for the role include:Proficiency with WordPressProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs and Google SheetsExperience in SEO and digital marketing campaigns is a bonusInterview experience is a bonus Location and SalaryThis job is a remote role.Starting salary is R15,000 per month, rising to R17,000 after successful completion of probationary period. There are also regular salary reviews, bonus and commission opportunities available.
