We’re looking for a Content Editor to join our busy editorial team in our Wimbledon office.This will be a hands-on digital content role which involves writing and uploading brokerage articles, producing online news stories and features, as well as some basic Photoshop, SEO updates and newsletter editing. QualificationsDo you have a sharp eye for a story, a love of words and an interest in the world’s most remarkable yachts? We’re looking for a Content Editor to join our busy editorial team in our Wimbledon office.This will be a hands-on digital content role which involves writing and uploading brokerage articles, producing online news stories and features, as well as some basic Photoshop, SEO updates and newsletter editing. To generate ideas on a daily basis to enable Boatinternational.com to meet its editorial targets.To work closely with the Online Editor to commission, write, edit and publish content for BoatInternational.com, with a particular focus on the yacht brokerage sector.To build and maintain strong relationships with the world’s leading brokerage houses in order to secure exclusives, source story leads and ensure BOAT International remains first to market with breaking news.To write and edit a mix of content including industry news, interviews and yacht roundups tailored to our luxury audience.To generate ideas and help identify gaps in its coverage to meet the needs of our readers.To ensure all published content meets BOAT International’s editorial standards for accuracy, authority, clarity, grammar, and tone.To optimise digital content for SEO and audience engagement, and assist in preparing and editing newsletters.Support the creation of multimedia content by preparing and editing images (basic Photoshop) and liaising with the wider team on social media outputs.Collaborate with colleagues across editorial, design, events and sales to align content with wider brand and commercial objectives.Additional InformationBoat International is an Informa Group Company. The Company also offers up to an additional 3 days of paid time off during the Christmas office closure period. This applies to all staff employed during the closure period regardless of their start date or if notice has been given. These days do not form part of the annual leave entitlement.You will also receive your birthday off or the following day each year, provided it falls on a weekday.Long Service AwardThe holiday year after your 5th anniversary, you will be awarded one additional day of annual leave.Pension You will be auto-enrolled into the pension scheme provided you meet the criteria. Standard contributions are set at 4% but the Company matches employee contributions up to 5%.Death in Service Whilst an employee, cover for all staff (permanent and temporary) of two times annual salary.Maternity pays 12 weeks at 100% of basic pay followed by 27 weeks at Statutory Maternity Pay rate, provided at least one year service.Paternity pays 1 week at full pay, followed by a second week at Statutory Paternity Pay rate.Enhanced sick pay After probation, the company will pay up to two weeks full pay per year, increasing to five weeks based on the length of service.Cycle to Work -The Company operates a Cycle to Work scheme to enable you to enjoy tax free cycling.Refer a friend scheme We operate a refer a friend scheme where you are paid a £500 employee referral payment for successfully referring a friend or contact for employment with us.
