Fiber X CompanyJob Title: Contract Billing EngineerJob Location : BaghdadJob Summary :The Contract Billing Engineer is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of subcontractor billing by validating executed quantities and aligning them with contract terms. This role ensures that all billing activities are based on accurate, approved, and contractually compliant data received from regional project teams. The engineer serves as the central point of coordination between supply chain, contracts, project coordinators, planning, and finance, ensuring timely and accurate invoice generation.Job Duties :Collect, verify, and process as-built quantities received from regional offices and project coordinators.Review subcontractor contracts and apply correct unit rates, billing rules, and scope limitations.Prepare and generate instant, daily, weekly and monthly reports including billing sheets and summaries in alignment with contractual milestones and deliverables.Coordinate with regional teams to resolve any quantity discrepancies or clarifications before invoicing.Ensure that invoicing aligns with the actual progress and scope approved on-site.Submit finalized billing packages to finance for payment processing and maintain records of approvals.Communicate with subcontractors, as needed, regarding billing issues or invoice clarifications.Collaborate with planning, deployment, cost control, and finance departments to ensure consistency between invoicing, project progress, and budgets.Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.·       Suggest process improvements and maintain high standards for accuracy and complianceJob Requirements:·       Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical field.·       2–5 years of experience in contract billing, invoicing, or quantity surveying within engineering, telecom, or infrastructure projects.·       Strong knowledge of contract billing principles, quantity surveying, and project delivery workflows.·       Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation).·       Experience with ERP or project management systems is a plus.·       Ability to interpret contractual clauses, payment terms, and unit rates effectively.·       Attention to Detail: Ensures all invoices and quantities are accurate and validated.·       Contractual Awareness: Understands how to interpret and apply contract terms to billing.·       Analytical Thinking: Can analyze variances in quantities and identify data issues.·       Communication: Able to coordinate clearly and professionally with cross-functional teams.·       Time Management: Can manage deadlines across multiple projects and regions.Interested candidates kindly send your CV to jobs@fiberx.iq
