Role: Business AnalystProject: T+1 settlementsLocation: London (hybrid 3 days per week)Contract: Initial 6 monthsRate: £750-850/d inside IR35X4 Group are partnered with a leading global Asset Manager to hire a contract Business Analyst to support a high-profile T+1 settlements project. This is a critical role focused on current state analysis, fact-finding and assessing the work required to deliver a successful T+1 implementation.Responsibilities of the Business Analyst (T+1 Settlements)Map, document and analyse trade flows from execution through to settlement, identifying inefficiencies, gaps or areas for improvement.Gather information from multiple teams and sources to create a comprehensive understanding of current post-trade operations.Proactively challenge processes and ask targeted questions to ensure high-quality, actionable insights are delivered.Validate findings and stand behind conclusions and recommendations, providing clarity and confidence to stakeholders across the business.Collaborate closely with settlement, operations and regulatory teams to ensure documentation accurately reflects processes and requirements.Requirements for the Business Analyst (T+1 Settlements)Strong BA and PM experience in settlements and post-trade operations, with a solid understanding of trade lifecycle and operational workflows.Knowledge of CSRD/clearing and settlement regulationsExperience with T+1 or accelerated settlement initiatives is advantageous.Exceptional analytical and communication skills, able to translate complex operational processes into clear, actionable documentation.Proactive, confident and able to engage with stakeholders at all levels to drive clarity and alignment.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys deep operational analysis and wants to make a tangible impact on a key industry initiative.
