Job Description

ResponsibilitiesPerform the commercial functions of the project while working closely with the delivery team to ensure successful project outcomes.Demonstrate a high level of commercial and technical knowledge and work as part of the Project Team.Understand project risks and maintain awareness of risk management processes, risk registers, and contingencies in place to manage and minimize identified risks.Fully comply with NMDC’s Commercial Procedures at site level.Maximize cash flow by providing timely input into valuations, submitting invoices, and ensuring prompt receipt of payments.Ensure that project teams maintain strong commercial awareness and focus, providing appropriate motivation and leading by personal example.Provide input to support the timely procurement of subcontractors.Prepare variations and claims, and contribute to the preparation of dispute documentation.Develop an in-depth understanding of contractual, commercial, insurance, and legal processes related to contracts, ensuring that NMDC’s position is protected.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent.Professional membership qualification such as RICS, CIOB, ICES, CIARB, or similar.Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in similar industries.
