Lawyers on Demand is urgently seeking a contract Legal Recruiting Assistant to support one of our prestigious law firm clients in New York City.Start: ASAP once interviewed and selectedDuration: at least through January 2026Pay Rate: $30-35/hour, depending on experienceLocation: Lower Manhattan, fully on siteCandidates with HR experience highly encouraged to apply!Job Overview: Our client is seeking a detail oriented Legal Recruiting Professional to support their fast-paced recruiting operations involving summer associates, first year associates, lateral associates, and lateral partners. Tasks include: Coordinate interview schedules and attorney & candidate communicationsAssist with onboarding and summer associate programs Liaise with reception for visitor logistics and building entry Collaborate with team to monitor ViRecruit and other HRIS platforms Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of recruiting or administrative experience Previous law firm or professional services experience required Comfortable working independently, self-motivated Sharp communication and multitasking skills Familiarity with ViRecruit, iManage, and/or alternatively HRIS platformsLOD is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
