Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cooker based in Durban, with some flexibility for remote work. The primary responsibilities include preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, particularly focusing on African-style grills and shisanyama flavors. Additional tasks include menu planning, ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and collaborating with the team to optimize kitchen operations. The role requires attention to detail, a passion for culinary arts, and a commitment to delivering outstanding dining experiences. Qualifications Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knowledge of African-style cuisine, particularly shisanyama dishes.Experience in menu planning, portion control, and maintaining food quality standards.Kitchen management skills, including ensuring hygiene and cleanliness in compliance with safety standards.Ability to work collaboratively with a team while demonstrating time management and multitasking skills in a high-pressure environment.Strong commitment to providing high-quality meals and customer satisfaction.Relevant culinary training or certification is a plus but not required with sufficient experience.
