Job Description

 Job Objective:To maximize business revenue through the implementation of effective commercial strategies, market data analysis, and dynamic rate management. This role combines proactive sales skills with analytical knowledge in revenue management to achieve occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and profitability (RevPAR) goals.Roles and Responsibilities:Sales:Generate and maintain commercial relationships with travel agencies, companies, event organizers, and direct clients.Design and implement sales strategies to increase occupancy and market share.Coordinate promotional campaigns, strategic partnerships, and participation in industry trade shows.Prepare quotes, contracts, and follow up on commercial proposals.Monitor customer satisfaction and manage feedback for continuous improvement.Local Sales Program ( Corporate - Rooms - One Day Tours - Spa - Food & Beverages)Revenue Management:Analyze historical data, future demand, and market trends to establish dynamic pricing strategies.Coordinate market segmentation and set pricing based on seasonality, events, or consumer behavior.Manage the revenue system and collaborate with PMS, CRM and Channel Manager systems.Job Requirements:Academic Background:Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 2 years in sales roles within the hospitality or tourism sector.Proven experience in rate analysis, revenue management, or yield management.Experience in tourism business development (preferred).Technical Knowledge:Proficient in hotel management systems (PMS), Channel Manager, and revenue tools.Advanced Excel skills and data analysis.Knowledge of online distribution platforms (OTAs, GDS) and CRM systems.Familiarity with tourism certifications and international promotions.Intermediate to advanced English (preferred).Skills and Competencies:Analytical and strategic thinking.Strong negotiation and sales closing skills.Results-oriented with KPI management experience.Proactivity and adaptability to change.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Organizational ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Working Conditions:Contract type: Full-time.Schedule: Monday to Saturday, with occasional availability for weekends or events.Work modality: On-site / Hybrid (depending on company policy).Location: Tambor, Alajuela.Bonus: Based on Performance Sales Program Salary: Base Salary + Bonus Plan
