🎯 What You'll Be DoingWrite compelling, creative copy across all marketing channels, including email, site, podcast ads, performance marketing, and more — in alignment with ZOE’s brand voice, messaging, and style.Use data-driven marketing to guide all copy decisions: Develop and bring to life great ideas grounded in insights, with exceptional creative thought and craft.Increase associated performance metrics via copy testing and analysis, including open and click-through rates on email and CPC on paid channels.Work with production and marketing to probe briefs, understand requirements, and develop creative strategies; and with internal stakeholders to define and build end-to-end copy assets.Collaborate and communicate effectively with the Creative Studio, including other writers, designers, and producers.Partner with our internal Legal Team to ensure all copy is legally compliant.Maintain consistent creative quality while applying and expanding brand guidelines.Keep your finger on the pulse of culture and health, nutrition, and wellness trends.Be customer-obsessed and put our members at the heart of everything you write.Be a champion of ZOE’s culture and values in everything you do.🧠 What You'll Bring To The Table6-8+ years of relevant experience, both agency and in-house are preferred but not a must. Start-up/scale-up experience is an advantage.Natural creative flair for writing engaging copy — within company brand voice and style guidelines.Copywriting portfolio of best-in-class work, showcasing impact-driven creative across multiple channels, including campaigns across digital platforms, email, and performance.Experience writing for the full customer journey.Deep experience driving impact in email: transactional and marketing emails, including onboarding and nurture flows.Experience writing product and in-app copy, and “how-to” tutorials.Proficient in the creative development process; have excellent conceptualising skills.Can write and challenge creative briefs against business objectives.Can take feedback from multiple stakeholders, and edit and proofread own copy before it goes live.Can develop alternate creative solutions and redirect creative development based on feedback if necessary.Can collaborate well with stakeholders from all levels and multiple departments; effectively communicate with creatives and producers, engendering trust and respect.Confident in managing up to leadership, negotiating with key stakeholders and using persuasion to push boundaries.Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects simultaneously and excel at project management.Thrive in a fast-paced work environment and can meet tight deadlines.Strong spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.Confident writing copy in US and UK English.Familiar with CMS systems and CRM software such as Braze, and familiar with Figma.🏆 What Success Looks LikeHave experience in a high-growth start-up and thrive in this environment. You feel comfortable making decisions to act fast, pivot fast, and drive the changing needs of the business.You’re humble and can quickly implement edits you may disagree with, with limited revision rounds.Demonstrate an understanding of nutrition science and the ability to translate health information and research into accessible, engaging copy.Are very organised and detail-oriented, having the confidence to manage up to senior-level colleagues, while possessing excellent coordination skills, especially given the remote nature of our work.Have experience working with internal Legal teams to make your copy legally compliant.Have experience running tight feedback loops with stakeholders; this role will involve managing input and resolving conflicts from senior stakeholders.You’re a natural team player. A great collaborator who people enjoy working with, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Have an understanding of user-generated content (UGC) and can write briefs, prompts, and/or scripts for creators.Be an active and engaged user of health and nutrition apps or digital products.Can use AI to generate copy (when the project calls for it).🚀 Ready to thrive?
