OverviewJob PurposeThis Corporate Counsel will work in the ICE Mortgage Technology business unit as an integral member of a small legal team that negotiates complex contracts for ICE's enterprise SaaS solutions related to mortgage servicing. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills as they will be interfacing with cross-functional teams and external customers and partners.Responsibilities Draft and negotiate a variety of customer and partner agreements Gain a detailed understanding of the company's products to ensure alignment with contracts Work closely with other members of the legal team, as well as sales, finance, product, cybersecurity, compliance, and engineering on all matters concerning company contracting Work collaboratively on a lean legal team to address additional needs of the company, including helping to adopt new technologies and update templates and processes to better integrate with other divisions of the business unitKnowledge and Experience Requires a law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and admission to practice law in the appropriate jurisdiction. Prior experience counseling a technology company is preferred (enterprise SaaS experience and/or experience negotiating with financial institutions is a plus) Excellent drafting, negotiation, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Ability to keep tasks organized and stakeholders clearly informed of deliverables and timelines Ability to understand business objectives and think creatively to find practical resolutions Self-starter and able to work well independently and as part of a teamIntercontinental Exchange is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to diversity in its hiring and business practices.
