Doing what's right for our customers - especially in tough times - gives real purpose to our work.As part of our friendly, welcoming legal team, your day-to-day would look likeDrafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements for various stakeholders across the business.Providing legal advice to the business, including Tower claims and recovery teamsRepresenting the legal function on key business projectsReviewing and advising on marketing collateralInterpreting, drafting and reviewing insurance policy wordingsAssisting with claims responsesLiaising with Tower’s external legal advisers (as needed)During your time with us, success will look like: Building trusted relationships across the business through clear, practical legal advice.Demonstrating strong ownership of legal matters with timely and accurate delivery.Contributing meaningfully to key projects and initiatives as well as to the BAU.To thrive in this role, you'll need: Solicitor holding a New Zealand practising certificate with a minimum of 4 years PQE with experience in major law firms or equivalent in- house roles (insurance/financial services experience preferred but not essential).The ability to deal with a wide range of legal issues while maintaining a consistently high level of service.A strong customer focus and take pride in building relationships with internal and external customers.We invest in you.
