Corporate Legal Counsel

Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Lawyer to join our growing practice in Kuwait. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience with a strong track record in Capital Markets and M&A, and thrives in a professional environment built on integrity and teamwork.ResponsibilitiesLead and execute M&A transactions (buy- and sell-side), including due diligence, structuring, and negotiation of SPAs, shareholders’ agreements, JVs, and related documents.Advise on capital markets matters (IPOs, secondary offerings, bonds/sukuk, disclosures, corporate governance), including regulatory filings and liaison with relevant authorities.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate and commercial contracts.Manage transaction timelines, coordinate with counterparties and advisors, and guide junior team members.Provide strategic corporate advisory to clients, including restructurings and compliance.Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships.QualificationsAdmission to practice in Kuwait.Minimum 7 years’ PQE, with demonstrable, hands-on experience in Capital Markets and M&A.Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and project management skills.Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication.Fluency in Arabic and English required.Prior experience within leading law firms or in-house legal teams on complex cross-border deals is preferred.Why Join UsWork on high-impact transactions with regional and international exposure.Clear career progression and professional development.Collaborative culture grounded in integrity and teamwork.Competitive compensation package.ApplicationPlease email your CV to info@alsanealaw.com with the subject line: Senior Corporate Lawyer – Capital Markets & M&A.
