ResponsibilitiesBrasfield & Gorrie is looking for a highly motivated, experienced recruiter to join our team in our Birmingham or Atlanta. This office based position will provide the opportunity to represent a recognized leader in the construction industry to experienced candidates.Learn the business, company structure, customer groups and job profiles through research, shadowing, and trainingBuild relationships with Hiring Managers to understand short-term and long-term hiring needsMaintain recruiting database (iCIMS) and respond to employment inquiriesCreatively source qualified candidates using various resourcesPrequalify candidates by conducting preliminary phone screensManage recruiting process for assigned customer groups and open positions from start to finishSchedule and conduct job intake meetings with Hiring ManagersBuild relationships and grow passive candidate networkCoordinate interview schedulingWelcome candidates, conduct office tour, and manage the interview process to provide an excellent interview experienceWork with hiring manager to negotiate candidate offer packagesUpdate and create recruiting reports and review statisticsMeet with hiring managers regularly to establish a strong partnership, defining recruiting objectives and developing corresponding recruiting strategyParticipate and/or lead special projects as assignedParticipate in recruiting team conference calls and human resources department meetingsAssist in training entry-level recruitersMay assist with onboarding new employeesQualificationsEducation - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree preferredConstruction recruiting expereince or expereince in an adjacent market sector highly preferred3 or more years of recruiting experience required Agency recruiting training a plusProven networking and candidate sourcing experience Experience with candidate sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)Familiarity with employment lawStrong computer skills (Microsoft Office products, HR systems)Ability to relate and communicate with all levels of employeesStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience operating within an applicant tracking system (ATS) preferredExperience with iCIMS is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExceptional customer service skillsAbility to stay organized and proactively create and manage daily schedules and long-term plansFlexibility and adaptability to changing scenarios, audiences, schedules, and situationsAbility and willingness to travel as neededThe above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
