Cost Engineer

Job Title: Junior Cost Engineer – FPSO ConversionLocation: Flexible - Netherlands, UK or Dubai Project Site: Dubai Reporting To: Project Controls ManagerJob PurposeSupport the Project Controls team in monitoring and reporting project costs during the FPSO conversion project. Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and budget control across engineering, procurement, and shipyard construction activities.Key ResponsibilitiesTrack project costs against approved budgets and cost baselines.Support preparation of weekly and monthly cost reports.Assist with cost forecasting and Estimate at Completion (EAC).Maintain Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) aligned with the project WBS.Monitor committed costs including purchase orders and subcontracts.Support cost variance analysis and change order tracking.Coordinate with planning, procurement, engineering, and yard teams.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Project Controls.0–3 years’ experience in cost control or project controls (EPC, marine, or oil & gas preferred).SkillsStrong analytical and reporting skills.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Familiarity with Primavera P6, SAP, or cost management systems is an advantage.Good communication and attention to detail.
