A Snapshot of Your DayWe are looking for an experienced Cost Estimation & Planning Manager to ensure a seamless product/ project costing and scheduling process within the Reciprocating Compressors Demand Management Team.How You’ll Make An ImpactDevelop & manage costing foundations and costing tools for the Reciprocating Compressor Product Line Provide compressor package cost estimates to Bid Management teams across India, USA, Europe, and China for new unit projects.Support SCM and Project teams with major component budget breakdowns and monitor/approve cost overruns.Participate in should-cost and pricing reviews with Management and Bid Management.Coordinate cost analysis activities and participate in fact-finding meetings.Collaborate with CPM for cost tracking during and post project execution.Work with Finance to correct system cost errors and ensure data accuracy.Implement lessons learned and cost variance findings in future bids.Support NCC (Non-Conformance Cost) analysis for CPM, QM, and PM teams as needed.Development of project specific schedules for firm proposalsDevelop schedules utilizing MS Projects or alternative scheduling softwareCombine Scope of Supply with standard lead times for project milestones and identify areas of concern and critical path towards a ‘winning’ lead timeLead project schedule activities during project handover to Project Management with schedule details, execution model and client delivery commitmentWhat You BringEducation requirements: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field is required. Masters Degree with combination of technical and commercial expertise preferredMinimum 10 years of experience in the Oil&Gas industry, ideally in the Rotating Equipment Industry; product knowledge of Reciprocating Compressors is a plusStrong affinity for the costing / pricing as well as scheduling process during the pre-order stage, supported by experience with respective costing / scheduling toolsStrong drive with motivation skills to accomplish tasks with high quality and on time with attention to detailPro-active and hands-on character and a strong will to provide best in class project support and willingness to improve the business every dayAbout The TeamOur Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector.
