Our mission is to provide hope, healing, and healthcare to everyone.We are currently seeking an empathic and passionate Counselor to provide individual and family therapy to our clients in our Mentor, Lake County office. The Outpatient Counselor offers diagnostic assessment and counseling within the office setting. This position is responsible for individual, family, and group services. This licensed provider will engage as a member of one or more collaborative teams. With a Trauma Informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health. Position will have a combination of youth and adult clients. Duties include:Performs diagnostic assessments as necessaryDevelops client-centered ISPs, monitor and review progressProvides outpatient individual, group and family therapy to children, adolescents, and familiesMaintains clinical records within Crossroads' standardsArranges appointments and collateral contacts, and coordinates therapeutic effortsParticipates in outcome trackingProvides direct service to clients in the event of an emergency, or in the absence of an assigned service providerRequirements:Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work preferred.LSW, LPC, MFT required; LISW, LPCC or IMFT preferred.Two (2) years of experience in the mental health field (preferred)Must have excellent interpersonal communication skillsMust be able to work on a team in a fast-paced, high stress environmentMust possess excellent crisis management/de-escalation skillsEOE Statement: We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
