DescriptionWe’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to help build the financial foundation of a mission-driven clean beauty startup. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of purpose and performance, where your accounting expertise will directly support a fast-growing brand redefining what “clean” truly means in the beauty industry. As an Accountant at G2G Ventures, you’ll support core accounting functions, assist with monthly close processes, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial accuracy and operational insight as we scale.
What You’ll Do Help develop and maintain a reliable monthly close process, analyzing supporting records and determining appropriate journal entries Meet close deadlines while actively communicating progress and identifying potential issues Manage daily and monthly reconciliations for banking activity, credit card transactions, reimbursements, AP, and AR Prepare and analyze account reconciliations, including cash, AR, AP, prepaids, accrued expenses, and fixed assets Collaborate with internal departments to track and analyze spending by vendor and invoice Support the preparation of internal and external financial statements by compiling data from across the organization Assist with procure-to-pay processes including vendor onboarding, invoice review, and initiating payments Help with payroll processing, compliance tracking, and reconciliation Support audits and special projects, including fraud reviews and financial analysis Respond to ad hoc requests from auditors, tax teams, and internal stakeholders with databacked insights Stay adaptable and open to feedback in a dynamic, high-growth environmentRequirementsWhat You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) Bonus if you’ve worked with Tipalti, Brex, or Shopify Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.
) Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and teamworkSalary Description$80,000 to $90,000
