The RoleThe Country Manager in Romania will respond and instruct on Claims and act as a suitable point of contact with Insurers in the local region.Key ResponsibilitiesWork and instruct on claims and create opportunity for new lines of revenue, as and when applicable.Preparing case management plans, and visiting insurers, reinsurers, claimants, and insureds.Leading claim discussions, relaying information to Insurers in a clear and concise manner.Preparing reports and presentations to insurers providing detail on all aspects of the claim, including policy analysis and liability, quantum, and future actions.Instructing and partnering with surveyors, lawyers, forensic scientists, forensic accountants, and other experts as necessary.Communicating regularly with all interested parties, calculating, and approving interim payments, preparing interim reports and other communications.Calculating and recommending settlement of claims and preparing final reports.Assisting with and developing the effective marketing of PCTSR Romania including:Responding to SLA requests and tender opportunitiesAccepting and managing new instructions from insurersAssisting in the development of marketing materialsAttending and participating in relevant market events, seminars, and conferencesProviding seminars and training (internal and external)Encouraging growth through open communication with wider members of the team both locally and internationally.Support balanced workloads and create an inclusive environment where colleagues feel valued and enabled to succeed.Carry out ad hoc duties and tasks that are allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post.Demonstrate and champion Charles Taylor Values by ensuring Agility, Integrity, Care, and Accountability and Collaboration.Required Skillsknowledge of the insurance market and key players (e.g. insurers, brokers, insureds)Experience and involvement with business developmentFlexibility to travel where required to manage teams and claimsSuitable degree or equivalent qualificationsExcellent communication skillsFluency in Romanian and English, both written and verbalAbility to work on own as well as in a team environmentAbout UsFounded in 1884 as a mutual insurance association, Charles Taylor began under the leadership of coal merchant Charles Taylor, whose astute management set the stage for growth.
