They design systems that unlock efficiency and power global growth.The Branch team is responsible for making sure the branch is fully compliant with local and European regulations, and offering the best products and service to our customers.We’re looking for a Country Manager to help shape how we continue to expand and operate in Spain. Let's get in touch.What You'll Be DoingDeveloping and orchestrating an actionable, data-backed, cross-functional country strategy to become a relevant banking player in SpainBeing a trusted partner to the RBUABSupervising local branch compliance and AML/CTF professionalsCollaborating with product teams to expand existing features and products while incorporating specific local considerationsIdentifying key operational opportunitiesBuilding critical vendor relationships and performance tracking systemsExecuting scale operations and working with cross-functional teams, like Operations, Finance, Legal, and ComplianceSupervising day-to-day branch activitiesLegally representing and signing documents on behalf of the branch in front of regulators, authorities, natural persons, and legal entitiesOverseeing the Spain branch team, setting relevant KPIs in line with branch and Revolut objectivesWhat You'll NeedAt least a 2:1 STEM, finance, economics, or business degree from a top university7+ years of experience working within a fintech, traditional bank, financial institution, or consulting firmFluency in English and Spanish3+ years of leadership experience managing a teamKnowledge of banking laws and regulations in Spain and the EUExperience managing risk, compliance, and outsourcing operationsA solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to endNice to haveAn entrepreneurial spirit with customer, product, and business-oriented thinkingA solid understanding of the business case behind retail banking, as well as the competitive landscape in the marketA track record of building and growing a business, and delivering high-impact projects successfullyA hands-on mentality with a natural aptitude to manage competing prioritiesExperience setting up a branch entity in SpainNatural curiosity and a willingness to make an impactBuilding a global financial super app isn’t enough.
