We specialise in chemicals, fuel supply, logistics, power solutions, and critical inputs required by the region’s largest mining houses.As we expand in Zambia, Energetech is establishing a stronger in-country, on-the-ground operational presence to support our supply and delivery activities across the Copperbelt.Country Operations & Supply Manager We are seeking a highly connected, operationally strong professional to serve as Energetech’s primary on-the-ground presence in the Copperbelt. This role requires someone deeply embedded in the mining and fuel ecosystem — with the ability to resolve issues rapidly, maintain relationships, and provide accurate, real-time market intelligence.This is a hands-on operational and supply role, you must be in the field, with the people, where things actually happen.Key Responsibilities1. Supply & Market IntelligenceMaintain a deep understanding of the Copperbelt supply landscape: who is supplying which mines, current pricing trends, tenders, and shifts in demand.Build and nurture relationships with mining procurement teams, depots, distributors, logistics operators, and transport companies.Monitor the region closely and provide continuous insights to Energetech’s trading, operations, and leadership teams.2. Operational Execution & Issue ResolutionOversee Energetech’s supply activities within Zambia, ensuring timely, reliable, and compliant execution.Verify transport readiness, track deliveries, inspect depots and loading points, and ensure operational feasibility.Resolve day-to-day operational problems quickly and directly by engaging suppliers, transporters, or mine-side teams.3. Relationship ManagementRepresent Energetech in the Copperbelt, maintaining strong, respectful relationships across mines, suppliers, transporters, storage operators, and other stakeholders.Attend meetings, site visits, and operational engagements as the company’s primary in-country representative.Strengthen Energetech’s visibility and credibility across the mining corridor.4. Support to Business Development & Regional TeamsProvide accurate, on-the-ground information to support commercial discussions, pricing decisions, and supply commitments.Validate logistics readiness, supply reliability, and operational risks for upcoming deals.Support tender and proposal efforts by supplying real-world operational intelligence and feasibility assessments.5. Reporting & ComplianceProduce structured weekly/monthly updates on operations, pricing, competitor activity, and market movements.Maintain documentation related to deliveries, supplier performance, and operational checks.Uphold Energetech’s standards for safety, compliance, and operational discipline.Skills & AttributesDeep familiarity with Zambia’s mining, fuel, and transport sectors.Strong, respected relationships across the Copperbelt supply chain.High personal integrity and strong reputation within the local ecosystem.Operationally focused thinker with an ability to solve problems immediately on-site.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Able to work independently with minimal oversight and high accountability.Qualifications & Experience5+ years in mining services, fuel supply, logistics, depot operations, or industrial distribution.Experience managing field operations or resolving supply chain challenges in mining environments.Existing network within the Copperbelt mining and transport community is strongly preferred.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.Valid driver’s licence; frequent travel across the Copperbelt is required.Why This Role MattersEnergetech’s growth in Zambia depends on having a real, physical presence in the Copperbelt — someone who understands the market intimately, solves problems before they escalate, and provides operational certainty.
