Role Description This is an on-site, contract-based Mechanical Engineer role located in Kitwe. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and machines, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, and leading or contributing to Research and Development (R&D) projects. The role also involves managing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. Qualifications Expertise in Electro/Mechanical Engineering and experience in Machine DesignProficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and related toolsStrong skills in Project Management to oversee timelines, budgets, and resourcesExperience conducting Research and Development (R&D) to innovate and improve mechanical systemsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work effectively on-site in collaborative environmentsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldPrior experience in the mining or industrial sector is advantageous
